2. Common Issues & Solutions

1. Cannot connect to device via Bluetooth

  • Check Bluetooth permissions
    • iOS: Go to "Settings - Privacy - Bluetooth" and ensure the app is authorized.
    • Android: Check that Bluetooth permissions are granted in system settings.
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled
    • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on and the target device is in pairing/discoverable mode.
  • Distance & interference
    • Keep the device within a reasonable range (recommended 1-3 meters) and avoid strong electromagnetic interference.
  • Restart
    • Try restarting the app or your phone, then reconnect.

2. Device not found during scan

  • Device not powered on/in pairing mode: Ensure the device is powered on and in discoverable mode.
  • Device already connected to another phone: Some devices support only one connection at a time. Disconnect other connections and try again.
  • Low battery/abnormal state: Low battery may affect Bluetooth broadcasting. Ensure sufficient device power.

3. Connected but cannot control or read information

  • App-device protocol incompatibility: Confirm device model compatibility or update the app to the latest version.
  • Firmware version: Some devices need firmware updates for full compatibility.
  • Missing permissions: On Android 10+, location permission is required for Bluetooth scanning. Ensure all permissions are granted.

4. App crashes or abnormal operation

  • Outdated app version: Update to the latest version of the app.
  • System compatibility issues: Use the app on officially supported systems (iOS 13+/Android 8.0+).
  • Cache issues: Try clearing the app cache or reinstalling.
